Day and Overnight Trips

One of the best things about sea kayaking is getting out on some extended trips. Whether these are long day trips or overnight camping, the adventures are truly unique. BEWET offers a number of opportunities to experience extended longer outings around the Puget Sound. Both our day trips and our overnight camping trips range in difficulty allowing everyone to get out and join us no matter what their experience level. As always, trips are announced via the Sea Kayak Yahoo Group and are also listed on the club calendar. On the calendar you'll find paddles in local areas, the San Juans, as well as the Washington Coast. Also look for our trip planning session, typically held in February. 

All trips are rated from Class I (easy, protected) to VI (difficult, exposed) and participation must be arranged with the trip leader ahead of time (RSVP). 

The Trip Classification Guidelines will help in determining which events to participate in but make sure to contact the trip leader for all the details on a specific trip.
