With the snowmelt almost gone and summer quickly ending, everyone flocks to the Tieton for the last runs of the season.

  •   Season: September

  •   Difficulty: Beginner-Intermediate

  •   Length: 11 miles

  •   Time: 2-2.5 hours

  •   Age: 12+

  •   Trip Fee: $40

The Tieton is set between Mount Rainier and Yakima, and is nonstop Class II+ to III action, with no stops in between. The river is dam controlled and only released during September when much of the rafting has gone dry everywhere else in the Pacific Northwest. Thus the river banks are lined with campsites filled with a carnival of rafting equipment.

After the rafting is over we provide club members and trip passengers the opportunity to join us at a local campground for a pot luck and BBQ.
